Return and Refund Policy
At Lightnladder, curating a flawless aesthetic for your sanctuary is our primary objective. We recognize that occasionally, a piece may not perfectly align with your interior vision. To ensure your complete confidence when styling your space with our Sculptural Vases, Ambient Candle Holders, and Minimalist Tissue Covers, we have established a transparent and equitable return framework.
1. RETURN ELIGIBILITY & TIMEFRAME
Clients are granted a comprehensive 30-day window, commencing on the exact date of delivery, to request a return or exchange. To qualify for a successful return, the merchandise must rigorously meet the following criteria:

Pristine Condition: The item must remain entirely unutilized and in the exact condition it was upon arrival.

Intact Tagging: All original brand tags, labels, and protective films must remain firmly affixed.

Original Presentation: The piece must be meticulously repacked in its original bespoke packaging, including any custom foam inserts or structural boxes critical for safe transit.

Proof of Transaction: A valid order confirmation or receipt must accompany the return.
2. RETURN AUTHORIZATION PROCEDURE
To formally initiate a return, you must first consult our Client Care team at support@ModnKitch.com.

Authorized Returns: Upon review and approval of your request, we will issue a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) alongside specific routing instructions and our Los Angeles receiving address.

Unauthorized Returns: Please be explicitly aware that blind returns—packages sent back to our facility without prior written approval—will be categorically refused and will forfeit any refund eligibility.
3. RETURN FREIGHT & POSTAGE ASSIGNMENT
To maintain absolute transparency, our shipping liability is structured as follows:

Fulfillment Errors (ModnKitch's Liability): If a return is necessitated by an error on our part (e.g., you received a defective, severely damaged, or incorrect decor piece), ModnKitch assumes full financial responsibility for all return shipping costs.

Client Preference (Buyer's Remorse): Should you elect to return an item due to personal preference, sizing misjudgment, or a change of mind, the client assumes full responsibility for securing and paying for return postage. Please note that original outbound freight charges collected at checkout remain strictly non-refundable.
4. TRANSIT DAMAGES & DISCREPANCIES
We strongly urge clients to meticulously inspect their newly acquired Sculptural Vases, Ambient Candle Holders, or Minimalist Tissue Covers immediately upon unboxing. Should you identify any transit damage or manufacturing defect, please notify support@ModnKitch.com immediately with photographic evidence. This allows us to swiftly evaluate the discrepancy and coordinate a premium resolution, such as an expedited replacement or equivalent store credit.
5. NON-RETURNABLE MERCHANDISE
To uphold our rigorous quality control and hygiene standards, the following classifications are entirely exempt from our return policy:

Bespoke Commissions: Goods that have been specially altered, customized, or made-to-order based on your specific requests.

Clearance Items: Products explicitly designated as "Final Sale" at the time of purchase.

Digital Assets: Electronic gift cards are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
6. EU RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL (14-DAY POLICY)
In strict adherence to international commerce laws, clients residing within the European Economic Area (EEA) possess the statutory right to cancel or return their purchase for any reason within 14 days of delivery, without the obligation to cite a justification. However, the returned artifacts must still strictly comply with our standard "unused" and "original packaging" prerequisites outlined in Section 1.
7. REFUND PROCESSING & DISBURSEMENT
As soon as your return is delivered to our California facility and undergoes a thorough quality inspection, we will promptly notify you of the approval or denial of your refund.

Disbursement: If authorized, your reimbursement will automatically be processed back to your original method of payment.

Timelines: Please allow our internal team up to 10 business days to execute the refund protocol. Once dispatched from our system, your respective banking institution or credit card provider may require an additional 3 to 5 business days to officially clear and post the funds to your account statement.
8. DISPUTE RESOLUTION COMMITMENT
We deeply value the trust you place in ModnKitch. Should you experience any friction during your shopping journey, we pledge to acknowledge all inquiries within 24 to 48 business hours and will persistently strive to achieve a fair, mutual resolution.
